detour to the new stuff

this new baby was born late last Friday night 10/23/04. in fact, I was up till dawn giving birth to the beauty. geeze I used a ton of silver wire but its worth it. wire wrap stud earrings. a first for me. for years, my customers have been asking me to make stud earrings. so I tried gluing the half-drilled stones on pegs. this didn't work so good. the glues I tried just didn't hold. so until last week I was content with the fact that I cant make stud earrings. then while my mother was at my house, a little light lit up in my little brain and these are the by product. I have only just begun.... I plan to perfect these. I will be the wire wrap stud earring queen someday. :)

I started playing around with my sterling wire and next think I knew I was making the coolest stuff. I incorporated bezelite sterling settings with cubic zirconias in most of these. $15.00 each

Amazonite set This set took me weeks to finally complete. The design stage seemed to drag on and on. Sterling silver wire wrapped amazonite and serpentine with an aventurine donut unlike any others I have ever seen. It dances it has so much sparkle to it. the donut also has carvings on front and back, appears to be Chinese. I used a hook so this necklace can be adjustable. I'm asking $89 for the necklace and $22 for the earrings ($100.00 for both) I can make a bracelet or anklet to match. oh yes, I make a ring with the same amazonite faceted coin bead used in this necklace.
